Why can't I see any planes on the map

Map Focus

Map Focus feature lets you quickly show a specific air traffic class on the map.

You can find the Map Focus class buttons on the map screen. When enabled, the Map Focus class button will turn blue, indicating that you are viewing a single type of air traffic class.

Disabling Map Focus:

  1. Tap the All Traffic Map Focus class button on the map screen

Aircraft Filters

Filters let you simplify the sky based on your own interests and criteria.

You can find aircraft filters on the tab bar at the bottom of the map screen. When enabled, they will display a numbered badge on top of the Filter tab.

Disabling Saved Filters:

  1. Tap the Filters tab on the tab bar at the bottom of the map screen
  2. Disable any active Filters by tapping the blue checkmark toggle
  3. Tap Close or swipe down to dismiss
  4. Check that the numbered badge has been removed from Filters

Your Connection

We recommend checking that Plane Finder works with both WiFi and mobile/cellular connections for comparison.

If planes appear on mobile/cellular but not on WiFi, the issue is likely related to your router or its security settings. You may need to reboot your router or add Plane Finder to your router's whitelist.
